Diamond Jubilee
In Celebration of the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee
In an effort to engage and recognize young Nova Scotians, 60 scholarships, one for each year of Her Majesty's reign, will be awarded to Grade 12 students who have demonstrated leadership and made significant contributions to their communities and the province.
The deadline for applications is May 4, 2012.
The award recipients will be announced on June 8, 2012.
An interactive, online learning tool and resources about the Diamond Jubilee and The Queen as a role model for active citizenship will be available to teachers and students from grades 2 to 11.
